• Oliver St. Clair
    Oliver St. Clair is an artist and art instructor. She commenced her career as a teaching artist in 2008, serving as an artist-in-residence at a high school. Teaching became a recurring theme in Oliver's professional journey and intensified when she began collaborating with Parade the Circle in 2012. It was during this period that Oliver recognized her genuine passion for teaching; she found fulfillment in guiding individuals of all ages and abilities in the realm of visual expression. This experience not only facilitated her personal and artistic growth but also solidified her commitment to making teaching and art making her primary professional focus.

    Oliver offers a diverse array of subjects, including drawing, painting, fiber art, puppetry, and various forms of sculpture and printmaking. Her overarching goal as an educator is to enhance the accessibility of art for all individuals while also empowering students to recognize and realize their potential. Oliver has taught with Broadway School of the Arts, Art House and CMA.
  • Susan Colon
    Susan Colon is a self-taught Graphic Designer, Vinyl Printer, Embroiderer, and Fashion Designer. She was born in Hartford CT. and moved to Cleveland at the age of 12. She is an activist, Member of the New Era Young Lords Cleveland Chapter, and a Youth Basketball Coach.

    As the Owner of Juju's Mindset, Suzie's clothing brand, she is very passionate about paying homage to indigenous ancestors. She is also the founder and owner of Kustom Mindset, a client centered business where she works together with clients to bring their art idea to life on clothing.

    Susan believes art through fashion helps people express the way they truly feel. Being able to wear your art, for Suzie, tells a story of one's personality.

  • Reinaldo De Jesus
    Reinaldo De Jesus was born in Norwalk, CT, and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and Sanlorenzo, Puerto Rico. De Jesus is a Digital Design Artist, Teaching Artist, Entrepreneur, Navy Veteran and activist who puts his community at the top of his list. Reinaldo is the Founder of Cultura Clothing Co., a clothing and merchandise company that provides a platform of expression for himself and other artists.

    He also plays a large part in the New Era Young Lords Ohio chapter. As 2nd in command, with his boots on the ground approach, De Jesus works with the philanthropic, activist organization, making a difference for youth in the community. After separating from the Navy, Reinaldo continues to give back in many ways as Marketing lead for Foluke Cultural Arts and as a teaching artist/mentor for Future Ink Graphics.

    Reinaldo's passion is bringing art to the community, sharing its power, and demonstrating that it can be an agent for culture, ingenuity and change.
  • Alexis Chinon
    Alexis Chinon is an artist and arts educator, specializing in early childhood education. She works primarily with watercolor and collage art. Alexis has over 15 years of teaching experience in the Cleveland Municipal School District (CMSD), through non-profits such as Art House and Broadway School of Music and the Arts, and as a Museum Educator at the Museum of Contemporary Art (moCa) and Dunham Tavern Museum. Recently, Alexis was a featured local artists for FRONT International. Currently, Ms. Chinon is fulfilling an artist in residency program for CMSD, William Rainey Harper, working with students to paint murals around their school. An active artist, Alexis frequently shows her work locally and has collaborated with several brick-and-mortar stores to create ephemeral displays and exhibits. Alexis holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and has attended art school.
  • Hannah Manocchio
    Hannah Manocchio is the artist and owner of Snakes + Acey's: a small silkscreen shop in the heart of Little Italy. Her focus is to create artwork and merchandise that deals with social justice, inclusivity, and history. She additionally teaches art programs to inner city and after school youths. Hannah joined FIG's advisory team in 2020 and became a teaching staff member in fall of last year.
  • Vanessa Eryn is a self-taught visual artist, fashion designer, and tattoo artist. As a multidisciplinary artist, their journey is a rich tapestry woven from diverse threads of creativity and self-discovery. Vanessa now joins Future Ink Graphics (FIG) as our Marketing Coordinator, where they will oversee the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives to increase visibility for FIG’s artists, exhibitions, and programs. With a strong focus on digital engagement, community outreach, and brand storytelling, Vanessa will play a key role in expanding FIG’s reach and impact across Cleveland’s creative economy.

BECOME AN INSTRUCTOR / INSTRUCTOR'S ASSISTANT

FIG is looking for qualified instructors and instructor assistants in graphic design, digital arts, and screen printing. Applicants must have leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic and be passionate about the arts and education.
Workshops and classes are offered to school aged students, young adults and advanced professionals. FIG programs are taught onsite at our location in the Pivot Center and off-site at local schools, organizations and community events. Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience. Background checks may be required for some programs.
