FIG Community Gallery Presents: Hall of Mirrors
Santana’s Debut Solo Exhibition

Opening reception: June 12th 6-9PM
Exhibition runs: June 12-July 25

Santana is a multimedia portrait artist who works in charcoal, acrylic, and airbrush. Born in Oakland, California, and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, he developed a practice shaped by the cultural diversity of his upbringing. His style draws from urban influences—hip-hop, street-style graffiti, and Black fashion—resulting in bold, character-driven portraiture. Santana is currently studying at Tri-C, where he continues to expand his body of work and explore new mediums.

My upbringing informs Hall of Mirrors, an exhibition that reflects the many ways my identity takes shape—through mentors, memory, community, and the versions of myself I see at my highs and lows. Some reflections are flattering or empowering, while others feel distorted or uncertain, much like the features in each portrait. Each piece moves between clarity and confusion, showing how the people who raised me helped steady my self-image while I continue figuring out who I’m becoming. This exhibition is both a tribute to them, and an honest look at what I see staring back at me in the mirror.

FIG Community Gallery Presents:
BITTERSWEET; COLLECTIONS
Hathaway Brown

Exhibition runs: May 1-7

As the school year comes to a close, our Hathaway Brown seniors find themselves in a moment when everyday routines begin to shift into long-lasting memories and future nostalgia. In honor of this transition, we are so excited to announce the Senior Art Exhibit, hosted at Future Ink Graphics on the evening of May 1st. We invite you to join us to celebrate the work and creativity of Hathaway Brown’s rising seniors and graduating class.

Bittersweet; Collections is a celebration showcasing a collection of art that has been carefully crafted over the school year. This collection of art feels personal and bittersweet, capturing the complexity of leaving familiarity and childhood and stepping into the unknown. Each piece is a reflection of individual identity, but in the end, the work is displayed in unity, bringing the stories together as one collection. We hope you will join us for an evening of reflection, celebration, and art as we honor this meaningful transition.
